Beau is now proven with litters at Stasec, Kiefert and Rushwind Shelties
Beau came to us in 2004 as a young puppy through the friendship of his breeder and co-owner Dee Dee Komarek of Brieya Shelties. We absolutely love this boy! In his very first time in the ring at just six months of age, he picked up a Runner-Up to Best in Sweeps at the Chicagoland Specialty under breeder/handler Geoff Browne. Shortly after that, he picked up both of his majors (one a specialty win) from the puppy classes. Thank you to all the judges who have appreciated this happy, sound, and typey boy. Thanks to Nick and Joel of Sunway Presentation who beautifully handled him to his first major!
An ACL injury kept him out of the ring from 2005 through 2006. As soon as he grew back coat from his surgery, he went out and grabbed three more points in three weekends of shows before he decided to grow a whole new wardrobe during the summer of 2007. We are hoping for his final points in the spring of 2008.
Beau is 15 ¾”, pure for sable and non-white factored. He is OFA excellent, eyes CERF normal, and vWD clear. He is proven with three litters to date and more on the way. One of his children is our very own Kylie on our “Girls” page.
