Skylar winning 3rd place at the ASSA National
Skylar winning a group 4
Skylar (AKA “Sky”) is Rushwind’s first homebred AKC champion. She finished at just over 12 months of age and in a short three months time of limited showing. During that time, she received a class placement at the 2009 ASSA National, took back-to-back majors in one weekend, and the following weekend took two group placements from the classes. Many thanks to Becky Johnson, her handler and to co-owner and good friend Marylouise Kiefert of Kiefert Shelties for their expert care and handling.
Skylar will be returning to Rushwind Shelties in the fall/winter of 2009 to be bred to the handsome BISS Ch Macdega Motion Picture. This is a line-breeding on Ch Grandgables Boy Oh Boy ROMC and Ch Macdega Glenhart Grand Prix ROM ROMC.
Sklar is OFA prelimed excellent, eyes CERF’ed clear, and vWD clear by parentage.
